Hi, I’m Lo,
Italian by heart, home cook by passion, and digital marketing expert by profession.
I was born and raised in Italy, where food is never just food. It’s family, stories, loud conversations around the table, and recipes that are passed down without ever being written. Somewhere along the way, life took me abroad. I lived for many years in the Netherlands, and today I call Belgium home—right near the Dutch border, so I didn’t wander too far away 😂
Food has always been part of who I am, but cooking and baking didn’t become my safe place until later in life.
From marketing to the kitchen
By day, I work full-time as a digital marketing expert. Strategy, content, SEO, analytics—this is my world and what I do professionally. I love creating structure, building brands, and helping ideas grow in a meaningful way.
But after busy days and full weeks, I discovered that I needed something completely different to recharge.
That’s where the kitchen came in.
Cooking and baking became my reset button. My moment of calm. A way to slow down, use my hands, and create something real. No screens, no deadlines—just ingredients, time, and a little bit of intuition. What started as stress relief slowly turned into a true passion.
Why Lo’ Cook ‘n Bake?
Lo’ Cook ‘n Bake was born from the idea that good food doesn’t have to be complicated.
You don’t need perfection, fancy tools, or professional skills to cook well at home. You just need curiosity, a bit of patience, and the joy of trying.
Here, I share:

Some recipes come from my Italian roots, others from living abroad, and many from simply experimenting in my own kitchen. Not everything turns out perfect—and that’s exactly the point.
A mix of passion and professionalism
Because of my background in digital marketing, I naturally love creating, sharing, and building things step by step. This blog is where both worlds meet: creativity and strategy, passion and consistency, food and storytelling.
I’m also currently investing even more in this passion by following a chef course—something I had been dreaming about for a long time. It feels exciting, a little scary, and completely right.
